How to apply
The application process when applying for the Sustainable Farming Fund (SFF).
About using the grants portal
To apply for funding, you first need to register to use MPI’s online grants portal. Once you are registered, you'll be able to create, submit, and manage all your applications.
Don't send in your application or supporting material any other way. It won’t be accepted for consideration and will be returned to you.
Check the key dates for when the funding round opens and closes. Download any relevant guideline documents so you can refer to these if needed.
Help with your application
MPI SFF project advisers are available to help you with drafting your application and using the grants portal. Contact them early with any questions, so that you can make any updates to your submission before the closing date.
Email our project adviser: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Follow the steps
When you register you'll be asked to provide contact details, including an email address, so we can contact you.
Once logged into the portal, you'll be shown a list of open fund rounds. Select the 'Apply' label, next to the Sustainable Farming Fund round.
You'll then need to complete all mandatory application questions. You can save your progress on your application at any time.
Tip: Save the login grants portal to your bookmarks or favourites. That way you can quickly return to your application.
Plan for enough time to log in, upload and submit your application before the fund round closes.
Once all mandatory questions have been completed, you will need to attach your completed SFF budget template and agree to the fund round terms and conditions.
When your application is submitted, you'll receive an email confirmation.
