The pledge helps safeguard your business and our economy
Biosecurity is about preserving our natural advantages. New Zealand’s economy is strongly linked to the health of our natural environment. Our small size also means many businesses are built on the value created from our natural assets.
Becoming a member of the Biosecurity Business Pledge shows your commitment to be an active part of New Zealand's biosecurity team. It's also a way to ensure good biosecurity practices across your business – from management to day-to-day operations.
The pledge:
- equips businesses with the knowledge and tools needed for effective biosecurity risk management
- enhances the 2-way flow of information between the business community and government to strengthen New Zealand’s entire biosecurity system.
When you join the pledge, you'll get access to a range of practical hands-on learning sessions like member forums and online seminars.
Pledge members also get insights and tips from:
- senior staff at Biosecurity New Zealand
- your peers
- other industry leaders.
