MPI consulted with interested parties from 13 January 2015 to 16 February 2015 on the draft import health standard (IHS) for “Fresh Banana (Musa spp.) for Consumption from the People’s Republic of China”. The draft IHS was accompanied by a Risk Management Proposal (RMP) providing information to support the proposed measures contained in the draft IHS. MPI received 6 submissions on the draft IHS.
