Download FAR 2013/47 Monitoring commercial eel fisheries: 2009–10 to 2011–12

The commercial eel (longfin, Anguilla dieffenbachii; shortfin, A. australis) monitoring programme began in 2003–04 and aims to capture processor recorded data from all individual landings throughout New Zealand on catch weights, species composition, size grades, and catch location at the catchment level. This report provides results from the 2009–10 to 2011–12 fishing years and examines trends in the North and South Island time series.
