This report was prepared for the New Zealand Ministry for Agriculture and Forestry (MAF). MAF wishes to assist the primary sector to take advantage of the economic opportunities arising from climate change. One such opportunity is to realise the value of carbon sequestered (i.e. stored) in forests, vegetation and soil as a result of carbon sequestration activities carried out on land in New Zealand.
