Download Nelson/Marlborough forest industry and wood availability forecasts 2006

To assist with regional planning, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has compiled wood availability forecasts for the Nelson/Marlborough region covering the period 2007 to 2040. This report presents a number of future wood availability scenarios, which show that the increases in wood availability will mainly depend on the harvesting decisions of the large number of mall-scale forest growers that are concentrated in Marlborough.
