23 May 2017: Griffin's Foods Ltd is recalling a specific batch of Eta brand 10 Pack Munchos Mix due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (soy).

The product is sold in supermarkets and retail outlets throughout the North Island. While the same batch has been distributed to South Island, this recall does not affect product sold in the South Island.
The product has not been exported.
Griffin's Foods Ltd is recalling the above product as it may contain Eta brand Monster Munch Cheesy Bacon packets instead of Eta brand Munchos Spicy Tomato packets. The Monster Munch Cheesy Bacon product contains soy, which is declared on the individual packets but not on the outer packaging label.
This recall does not affect any other Eta brand products or any other batch of Eta brand 10 Pack Munchos Mix.
Customers are asked to check the date marking printed on the back of the outer packaging.
People with a soy allergy or intolerance should not consume this product. If you have consumed this product and have any concerns about your health, seek medical advice. If you are not allergic or intolerant to soy, this recall does not affect you.
Customers should return the products to their retailer for a full refund.
