Importing biological products and organisms

Biological products of animal origin, viable microorganisms, and cell cultures are imported for a range of uses. The main uses include research, evaluation, development, diagnostic purposes, and as an alternative to chemicals. As well as importations by suppliers to on-sell to their customers, biological products of animal origin, viable microorganisms, and cell cultures are imported by places such as Crown Research Institutes, universities, private research institutions, hospitals, diagnostic testing laboratories, and veterinary laboratories.
