Guidance for import health standards

Our guidance document explains the process of inspection and clearance of fresh produce at the New Zealand border.

Import health standards

Tips - try using:

  • one word for precise results - for example, alligator
  • multiple words for broader results. For example, alligator meat returns documents with either alligator or meat
  • quotation marks to search a specific term - for example, 'alligator meat' returns documents with the exact phrase 'alligator meat'
Published after date must be earlier than or the same as Published before date.
Published before date must be later than or the same as Published after date.
