The Marine High-Risk Site Surveillance programme surveys New Zealand's highest risk ports for primary and secondary target marine non-indigenous species and other non-indigenous or potentially invasive marine animals and plants that arrive and/or establish in New Zealand. It also aims to monitor changes in the distribution of established marine non-indigenous species. NIWA deliver the programme for MPI. This annual report details the results of the surveys in the 11 ports and marinas covered by the programme during the periods May 2015 - April 2016.
