About the supporting information
MPI relied on a range of information when developing the DIRA discussion document published on 2 November 2018.
This information includes:
- independent reports we commissioned from an economic consultancy, Frontier Economics, on the performance of the New Zealand dairy industry and its drivers
- input we received from dairy processors and other sources.
Redactions have been made to some documents consistent with the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). Email addresses, phone numbers and addresses of submitters have been withheld to protect people's privacy. Some information has been redacted for commercially sensitive reasons.
