The Government’s Aquaculture Strategy and Five-Year Plan to Support Aquaculture (2012) supports industry’s target to reach $1 billion in value by 2025. It contains seven objectives, one of which is to “Increase Value through Research and Innovation”.
This document is a refresh of the 2013 Research Strategy, and has been developed using a similar, collaborative process. It captures current issues and priorities, and aims to inform collaboration between industry, research providers, academic institutions and government.
