This report provides a review of potential tools that recreational fishers could use to self-report their catch. Two scenarios are also proposed that could be used to test the reliability of self-reported data. Self-reported data should ideally be lodged on some form of electronic data, and a generic Application Programming Interface design is proposed to facilitate this.
