Download FAR 2019/41 An update of the assessment of the eastern stock of tarakihi for 2019

The previous stock assessment of the eastern stock of tarakihi was updated to include recent catch, CPUE indices and trawl survey data. The updated assessment was consistent with the previous previous assessment and indicates that the stock is below the soft limit reference point. Stock projections were undertaken to evaluate the effect of alternative levels of future catch. A simulation analysis was conducted to investigate the performance of alternative target biomass levels.
