Download FAR 2024/33 Estimation of the abundance of scampi in SCI 6A using trawl and photographic surveys

In February and March 2023 scampi were surveyed in area SCI 6A using underwater photography and trawl survey equipment.

The photographic survey suggested a small decrease in numbers of visible scampi but a slight increase in the number of scampi burrows compared to 2019.

The trawl survey estimate was lower than in 2019.
