Download Update of the Erosion Susceptibility Classification (ESC) for the proposed NES for Plantation Forestry: Managing changes to the ESC and incorporating detailed mapping

MPI is leading a process to deliver greater national consistency in the management of plantation forestry under the Resource Management Act by implementing a National Environmental Standard (NES) for Plantation Forestry. This report refines the Erosion Susceptibility Classification for misclassified land and describes a process by which a party can apply to have ESC units/polygons refined, reassessed or new units created and reclassified.
