What is ACVM export certification?
Some overseas markets require us to issue certification for agricultural compounds and veterinary medicines (ACVMs). The certificate may assist you to export products overseas.
Products can be certified if they are registered under ACVM legislation.

Products that aren't registered
Unregistered products can still be certified if they are exempt from registration.

Certificate of Compliance for Agricultural Compounds
A certificate of compliance is issued by MPI. It states that the product complies with ACVM Act 1997 requirements. Exporters should be familiar with section 35A (3) of the Act regarding the limitations of certificates.

Free sale certificates and certificates of pharmaceutical product
Free sale certificates (FSCs) and certificates of pharmaceutical product (CPPs) or similar are issued in the form of certificates of compliance. These have the same intent and purpose as FSCs and CPPs.
Apply for a Certificate of Compliance
To apply for a certificate of compliance:
- Fill out the request form.
- Send it to the email address on the form with the required fee and any relevant supporting documentation.

Each request may take us between 5 and 10 working days to process, from the time we determine that your application is complete.
You can choose to receive these certificates in hard copy, soft copy (electronically), or both. Additional fees apply for hard copies.
