This recall notice only affects products (as outlined above) bought at Countdown, SuperValue, or FreshChoice before Sunday 30 August 2020. All affected stock was removed from stores immediately once the damaged packaging was identified, and has been destroyed. All stock on shelves from 1 September is not affected and is safe for consumption. The damage was caused by mice and does not relate to the manufacture or distribution to stores of these products. |
Consumer advice
Affected product should not be consumed. Customers should return the products to their retailer, or those who purchased the products online should call the customer care line, for a full refund.
This follows information provided on 29 August 2020 and 30 August 2020 reminding parents to check the packaging of baby food in squeezable pouches.
