1 October 2024: Tokyo Food Company Ltd is recalling all batches and all dates of Wako Shokai brand Dried Seaweed (Kome Hijiki), Wako Shokai brand Roasted Seaweed (Hijiki), Yamanaka Foods brand Dried Seaweed (Mekabu) and Ichbiki brand Hijiki Seaweed / Seasoned Vegetable due to an elevated level of arsenic (inorganic).
