This recall does not affect any other Xiong Mao Pai (Panda brand) products or any other products from Tai Ping Trading Ltd. International scientific committees and Food Standards Australia New Zealand have investigated the safety of sulphites and concluded that for most people sulphites are safe. The high levels of sulphites found in this product may case a stomach irritation. However some sulphite-sensitive people, many of whom also have asthma, may react to sulphites with allergy-like symptoms. |
