2020–2021 funding round results
SLMACC is funding 28 new projects across the 3 SLMACC funds:
- $14.66 million is being provided for 13 freshwater mitigation projects over 4 to 5 years
- $4.36 million is funding 11 adaptation projects of up to 3 years
- $859,500 is being provided for 4 extension projects over 2 years.

2019–2020 funding round results
SLMACC is funding 8 projects in the 2019–2020 year. These cover a range of issues such as developing methods for identifying and quantifying risk in the primary sectors, improving the New Zealand Drought Index, and enhancing the preparedness of rural landowners for extreme fires.
