Plane clearance costs largely Crown-funded
The New Zealand Government covers most costs relating to aircraft coming into New Zealand at approved places of first arrival.
In rare cases, the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) may charge you for costs if they have to spray your plane for insects or disease.
