The National Plan of Action for Seabirds 2020 (NPOA Seabirds) sets out the vision, goals and objectives that will guide the management of interactions between seabirds and New Zealand fisheries. Progress towards meeting the objectives of the NPOA Seabirds will be measured using 36 performance measures. By providing the status of each performance measure as of the end of 2018/19, this report provides a baseline by which progress towards meeting the objectives of the NPOA Seabirds can be measured.
